Details:

The car sat in the garage mostly and wan driven much. Pipe diameter is 2 1/4 before muffler and tail pipes. I purchased the kit from Classics for over $500 plus shipping. It is not too loud at idle but raspy when you get on it.

Please look at pictures closely a couple of dents are present on the muffler from disassembling it. System includes aluminized over axle pipes, cross-flow muffler, and tailpipes. The tailpipes exit straight back at the end just like a stock exhaust. That is why the kit for only over axle pipes, muffler, and tail pipes.

The muffler is tucked up between the gas tank and rear end so nobody will see them. Used Dual Exhaust System made for 1969 Camaro. I later installed headers on the car and had to cut head pipes modify them fit. This system is made to fit coupe and convertible.

The aluminized coating on this exhaust maintains color and appearance even daily drivers. Original looking flat spots are also reproduced. This exhaust was originally installed on my stock restored Camaro with factory manifolds.
